Q8 Brahms NCH

Q8 Brahms NCH is a heavy duty cold heading lubricant based on medium viscosity mineral oils and extreme pressure additives combined with a very effective lubricity package which gives improved tool life. Q8 Brahms NCH contains non staining additives which allow its use on virtually all metal types. The fluid also contains special deodorisers which mean that the product has a pleasant fruity smell when compared to conventional sulphurous based lubricants fluids. Q8 Brahms NCH is solvent free and very low fuming.

Q8 Brahms NU

Q8 Brahms NU is a sulphur free metal forming lubricant manufactured from a solvent refined mineral oil and blended with extreme pressure additives and an anti rust agent.

Q8 Brahms XAD

Q8 Brahms XAD is a specially formulated chlorine free metal forming lubricant. It is manufactured from a highly refined mineral oil that is blended with extreme pressure additives.

Q8 Brahms XAZ 420

Q8 Brahms XAZ 420 is a chlorine free, high viscosity, active type metal forming oil formulated for normal steel and stainless steel applications where very severe bending and deep drawing applications are carried out.

Q8 Brahms XNK

Q8 Brahms XNK is a low viscosity metal forming oil manufactured from a solvent refined mineral oil combined with a chlorine free extreme pressure additive. A special corrosion inhibitor has also been included in the formulation.

Q8 Brahms XVO

Q8 Brahms XVO is a modern alternative to vanishing oil with a high flash point. It is manufactured from a highly refined mineral oil combined with a chlorine and sulphur free lubricating additive.

Neat Cutting & Rolling Oils

Q8 Bach AD

Q8 Bach AD is a traditional dark, heavy duty, neat cutting oil. Incorporated in the formulation are active extreme pressure additives and a heavy treatment of lubricity agent. The powerful EP additive package included in the formulation provides boundary lubrication at the tool tip chip interface. This package helps prevent built up edge and also dramatically reduces tool wear and machine power consumption. The extreme power additives are active at all temperatures and therefore excellent finishes can be achieved throughout the full range of speeds and feeds from the heaviest removal of stock right down to finishing with light cuts. The lubricity additive makes possible maximum contact of the fluid with the workpiece at all times; this helps eliminate judder and poor finish when machining exceptionally big cuts and at high feed rates. Also incorporated in Q8 Bach AD is the Q8 mist reducing additive.

Q8 Bach AH

Q8 Bach AH is a highly treated neat cutting oil developed for difficult operations on hard to machine steel alloys. It is treated with a powerful active extreme pressure additive package and it also incorporates a lubricity agent and Q8 mist reducing agent.

Q8 Bach AHL

Q8 Bach AHL is a low viscosity neat cutting oil with low odour characteristics. The additive treatment consists of a powerful active EP package and a heavy lubricity agent. The Q8 midst reducing additive package is also incorporated in the formulation.

Q8 Bach NC

Q8 Bach NC is a light coloured, medium duty cutting oil. It incorporates a non-active extreme pressure additive package and is compounded with a sophisticated lubricity additive. The Q8 mist reducing additive package is also incorporated in the formulation.

Q8 Bach NCL

Q8 Bach NCL is a specially solvent refined, low viscosity neat cutting oil. It is very lightly treated with an extreme pressure and lubricity package that helps the cutting action and imroves surface finish. The Q8 mist reducing additive package is also incorporated in the formulation.

Q8 Bach NKM

Q8 Bach NKM is a pale coloured, heavy duty, low odour neat cutting oil whose performance is totally independent of Sulphur additives. The formulation includes a special mild non sulphur EP additive package and a large quantity of lubricity additive. The Q8 mist reducing additive package is also incorporated in the formulation.

Q8 Antifoam EWD 5

Q8 Antifoam EWD 5 is a highly effective silicone free antifoam designed for use in all water based fluids. Modern machinery has become more dependent on high pressure coolant delivery systems combined with smaller tank sizes. The coolant becomes aerated and the foam formed has little chance to collapse. Some foam generated has very elastic bubble characteristics and will not collapse on its own. This type of foam can continue to build until close down of the machine is necesary. In some cases foam overspill may be sufficient to force the close down of nearby machines as well. Q8 Antifoam EWD 5 treatment is designed to control all foam problems in emulsion systems. It prevents foam build up immediately and continues working to prevent further foaming activity throughout the process. It is much more effective and economical than mechanical knock down systems and being silicone free, it cannot adversely affect adhesion in later processes such as Electro plating or surface coating.

Q8 Borodin B

Q8 Borodin B is a chemical designed to increase the useful life of water based wire drawing lubricant in service by killing the all bacteria, fungi and yeasts present and then sterilising the system. Bacteria can exist and multiply dramatically under both aerobic (well aerated) and anaerobic (in the absence of oxygen) conditions, and left unchecked will speedily destroy any fluid system. The bacteria feed upon and consequently deplete the coupling agents in emulsions and deplete the anti corrosion agents. Fungi and yeasts can also multiply rapidly at the fluid/air interface in all kinds of fluids and these cause smells, unpleasant growths and slimes. In some systems these growths can be large enough to block filters and cause machine lubrication problems. Q8 Borodin B keeps all types of wire drawing emulsions in good condition thereby eliminating problems with corrosion of machine parts caused by fluid degradation and avoiding unpleasant odours, growths and slimes. Die life and surface finish are maintained by preserving the lubrication characteristics of the fluid. Prompt treatment of a contaminated system is imperative to prevent the loss of operating efficiency. When treatment has been carried out correctly, service life of the fluid is extended and replacement delayed until convenient and when this would not interfere with production schedules.

Q8 Borodin F

Q8 Brytoklean WD

Q8 Brytoklean WD is a water soluble alkaline detergent system cleaner combined with a broad spectrum biocide. It has been specially formulated for the cleaning and sterilising of heavily soiled metalworking emulsion systems. It will remove fatty deposits and soap build up, sludges, tramp oil and bio films from tanks, pumps and pipework leaving the surfaces and interiors thoroughly cleaned and sterile.

Q8 Degreasing Fluid

Q8 Degreasing Fluid is a powerful cleaner that dissolves the oil, grease and oil bound dirt and grime on factory machinery and floors allowing them to be washed clean with a water jet. A combination of powerful petroleum solvents and emulsifiers, Q8 Degreasing Fluid is effective in freeing heavy accumulations of dirt which have become locked in by successive layers of grease or oil and are difficult to remove by other methods. It has an extremely effetive cleaning action even at low temperatures although some warming may speed up the operations. After washing off, the surfaces are left clean and no harmful residues remain. The product is non caustic, non corrosive and can be used safely on all metals and alloys. Q8 Degreasing Fluid is more penetrating, more economical and safer to use than paraffin or white spirit.
