Q8 Baroni XAA is a high oil content water soluble cutting fluid designed for use in extremely hard water conditions. Lubricity is improved due to the inclusion of synthetic esters. The high oil content provides maximum long term protection of machine tools and components produced. Q8 Baroni XAA is designed for turning, milling, boring, deep hole drilling and reaming applications. Formulated for a wide range of materials and especially recommended for difficult aluminium alloys including sensitive aerospace grades; but also compatible with ferrous alloys, titanium, copper containing alloys, composites and oil resistant plastics.

| Q8 Beethoven XAL has been specially developed for high speed machining of aluminium alloys. Q8 Beethoven XAL shows extremely good machining performance and excellent surface finish even on heavy cuts. It is a chlorine and sulphur free semi synthetic product which when mixed with water forms a semi translucent emulsion with biostable characteristics. The biostable properties mean that the emulsion does not degrade or produce bad odours and the emulsion needs little or no maintenance. The formulation does not contain added chlorine, sulphur, secondary amines, cresols, phenols or nitrites meeting current health and safety regulations. Q8 Beethoven XAL is non staining to aluminium and non corrosive to machine parts. Dilutions above 8% can prevent contact corrosion between aerospace alloys and mild steel. There are no sticky residues or sludge from this product. |

| Q8 Antifoam EWD 5 |
Q8 Antifoam EWD 5 is a highly effective silicone free antifoam designed for use in all water based fluids. Modern machinery has become more dependent on high pressure coolant delivery systems combined with smaller tank sizes. The coolant becomes aerated and the foam formed has little chance to collapse. Some foam generated has very elastic bubble characteristics and will not collapse on its own. This type of foam can continue to build until close down of the machine is necesary. In some cases foam overspill may be sufficient to force the close down of nearby machines as well. Q8 Antifoam EWD 5 treatment is designed to control all foam problems in emulsion systems. It prevents foam build up immediately and continues working to prevent further foaming activity throughout the process. It is much more effective and economical than mechanical knock down systems and being silicone free, it cannot adversely affect adhesion in later processes such as Electro plating or surface coating. |

Q8 Borodin B is a chemical designed to increase the useful life of water based wire drawing lubricant in service by killing the all bacteria, fungi and yeasts present and then sterilising the system. Bacteria can exist and multiply dramatically under both aerobic (well aerated) and anaerobic (in the absence of oxygen) conditions, and left unchecked will speedily destroy any fluid system. The bacteria feed upon and consequently deplete the coupling agents in emulsions and deplete the anti corrosion agents. Fungi and yeasts can also multiply rapidly at the fluid/air interface in all kinds of fluids and these cause smells, unpleasant growths and slimes. In some systems these growths can be large enough to block filters and cause machine lubrication problems. Q8 Borodin B keeps all types of wire drawing emulsions in good condition thereby eliminating problems with corrosion of machine parts caused by fluid degradation and avoiding unpleasant odours, growths and slimes. Die life and surface finish are maintained by preserving the lubrication characteristics of the fluid. Prompt treatment of a contaminated system is imperative to prevent the loss of operating efficiency. When treatment has been carried out correctly, service life of the fluid is extended and replacement delayed until convenient and when this would not interfere with production schedules. |

| Q8 Degreasing Fluid |
| Q8 Degreasing Fluid is a powerful cleaner that dissolves the oil, grease and oil bound dirt and grime on factory machinery and floors allowing them to be washed clean with a water jet. A combination of powerful petroleum solvents and emulsifiers, Q8 Degreasing Fluid is effective in freeing heavy accumulations of dirt which have become locked in by successive layers of grease or oil and are difficult to remove by other methods. It has an extremely effetive cleaning action even at low temperatures although some warming may speed up the operations. After washing off, the surfaces are left clean and no harmful residues remain. The product is non caustic, non corrosive and can be used safely on all metals and alloys. Q8 Degreasing Fluid is more penetrating, more economical and safer to use than paraffin or white spirit. |

| Q8 Ravel SG & LG |
| Q8 Ravel SG & LG are water displacement fluids that deposit a rust preventing soft waxy film onto treated surfaces. They are very effective anti rust treatments for all wet parts, damp conditions and have been made easy to apply by the addition of a solvent to the formulation. The formulations also include powerful rust and corrosion inhibitors and film strength improvers. As used from the drum, these products have low surface tension, viscosity and a strong attraction to metal surfaces. They therefore spread rapidly to displace all water and completely cover all complex shapes inside blind holes and even penetrate porous components. After the solvent has evaporated, a protective soft waxy film remains clinging to the surfaces protecting them from further water and rust. The protective film is self healing in the event of scratchesor scrapes. |
