PRIAMUS V11

PRIAMUS X11 is an emulsifiable lubricant that produces a highly stable emulsion with unique biostable properties in copper rich environments. The stability is achieved by careful balance of non-soap emulsifiers and lubricity additives ensuring the cleanliness required for fine wire sizes especially on non-wire machines. The emulsifier and lubricity system enables PRIAMUS X11 to provide with increasing concentration, the lubrication required for larger wire sizes up to rod sizes without compromise of cleanliness. Its low reactivity results in excellent cleanliness and exceptionally long life even at elevated operating temperatures.

PRIAMUS V12

Priamus V12 is based on new synthetic esters that mean the product is extremely clean and low foaming. It is a low soap emulsifiable lubricant that utilises new technology emulsifier and surfactant systems that exhibit low reactivity in the presence of copper. The product also possess biostable characteristics in Copper rich environments and this avoids the need for biocide additions. Priamus V12 contains boundary lubricant additives to provide a low coefficient of friction between copper/ceramic and copper/steel components and as a result a low reactivity provides consistent performance over long periods. Furthermore, special additives are incorporated in the formulation to keep Copper fines from coagulating. Low reactivity also results in excellent cleanliness and exceptionally long life in use even at elevated operating temperatures.

Controlled lubrication is provided by a synergistic combination of synthetic and naturally occurring polar additives which ensure consistent lubrication at all wire sizes. This product does not contain any biocide or fungicide due to the wide range of dilution used. Regular monitoring of biocide and bacteria is advised.

PRIAMUS X7

Priamus X7 is an emulsifiable semi synthetic lubricant which readily forms highly stable semi translucent emulsions. Lubricity is provided by a synergistic combination of synthetic esters selected for their polarity and chemical stability. Emulsion detergency and stability are achieved by a carefully balanced anionic emulsifier system which ensures pH stability and cleanliness without excessive foaming or compromising the lubricity required to achieve minimum die and capstan wear. The stability of Priamus X7 emulsions allows a long bath life which may be enhanced by the use of filtration or hydrocyclones without disturbing the essential balance of characteristics required for these applications. This product does not contain any biocide or fungicide due to the very wide range of dilution that this product uses. Regular monitoring of biocide and bacteria ia advised.

WIROL 2000 LFG

Wirol 2000 LFG is a fully synthetic water soluble lubricant which provides a clear blue solution at all solutions. Wirol 2000 LFG is entirely water soluble utilising new technology to provide levels of cleanliness unachievable with oil containing products. Lubrication is provided by high molecular weight polymers supplemented by synthetic soaps. A synergistic combination of organic and inorganic corrosion inhibitors provide complete protection for ferrous and non ferrous metal alike. Wirol 2000 LFG is virtually unaffected by water hardness and will not generate copper sludge. Wire drawn with Wirol 200 LFG solution is exceptionally clean being washed almost completely dust free by the solution. The resulting copper dust is readily removed by filtration, centrifuging or gravity separation.

It provides high levels of cleanliness unachievable with similar products whilst lubrication is provided by utilising high molecular weight polymers supplemented by synthetic soaps. Wirol 2020 uses the latest technology which utilises inverse solubility to provide extreme pressure characteristics, that together with its superior cleanliness is capable of achieving significant increases in die life.

Trials have proved that Wirol 2100 can increase die life by up to 600% and can reduce the number of wire breaks by 300%. Aludra 150 is based on a medium viscosity parafinic mineral oil which has been severly refined. The base oil possesses a natural high viscosity index with inherent oxidation stability. Aludra 150 incorporates synthetic lubricity improver's and is fortified with extreme pressure additives which are preserved by oxidation inhibitors. Aludra 150 is formulated on base oils and additives which have been specially selected for their non staining charcteristics on aluminium and its alloys.

Q8 BACH RF 4, 8 & 12

Q8 Bach RF 4, 8 & 12 rolling oils are light viscosity neat oils specially developed for cold rolling and precision grinding applications. Q8 Bach RF 4, 8 & 12 rolling oils are based on severely refined mineral oils carefully blended with boundary lubrication additives and additional antioxidants. These additives provide the necessary controlled lubrication required for cold rolling applications on a wide range of materials. These rolling oils are optimised to give maximum roll life and to generate a high grade surface finish and reflectivity on rolled strip.

COPPROTECT H

Copprotect H is an oil free tenacious yellow metal protective coating specially developed for humid environments. It leaves a clear, light coloured film on the metal surface. The Copprotect H is a low viscosity synthetic liquid formulated using the highest quality water soluble additives and lubricity agents. The resulting formulation produces a stable solution in water with excellent solubility, wetting and copper protection characteristics. These types of mineral oil free formulations are less costly to dispose of and do not contain any harmful materials.
